Persephone to Your Hades

How can you not see that i'd be the Persephone to your Hades? I'd leave the world that is full of springs, gardens of amusing flowers— happiness—they said. I guess my happiness is a bit odd. I'd choose those raging flame rather than comforting springs. I'd choose gardens of thorns rather than the ones with amusing flowers. In other words—i'd choose to be with you.

I'd be the Persephone and you'll be my Hades. The God of The Dead, are you? Then explain, how do you make me feel alive? I'm out of my mind already, Because I see more butterfly here in the underworld than the place where i supposed to be.

This world is truly unjust, i would say. Even if i gave them fruits, flowers, trees, springs—happiness. They still see me as the weak one, mommy's girl. But you see me when i was broken. Took me to your place and make me the queen of the underworld. You showed me the better version of me. The strong one, the brave one. It is with you, that i can be my true self.

But this world is indeed unjust. They wouldn't let us be together forever. They said i could only be with you for a season. Nevermind, I'll make it winter so they can see how i see it.

So that they understand, Spring to me is just dull, Summer to me is just cold, Fall to me is when i couldn't hold in my longing, They might hate winter, but it's my favorite one eversince i met you.

Winter to me—feels iridescent and warm.

Because we're together on each sides.
